This is the best of all the re-entries on the Jubilee Issue and is indeed 'major' in proportions. The most obvious detail is the doubling found in the central 'V' & 'R.' But there is also extensive doubling found in the crown; POSTAGE; 1837 & 1897; TEN CENTS; as well as the upper and lower framelines.

According to Unitrade, there were only 550 plate proofs of this stamp printed, which is 11 sheets of 50, making my proof copy extremely rare.

Even the issued stamp has only 3000 copies of this major in existence.
