Notice I haven’t listed descriptions for most of the 1¢ Numerals because they are all of major proportions and the details are pretty easy for everyone to see.

THE Major Re-entry

This is the stamp most often recognized as 'THE' Major Re-entry on this stamp. While there is very strong doubling throughout the design, it is most noticeable in the lower left '1.' However, while it may look like the '1' is tilted to the left, that is just an optical illusion caused by the way in which the engraver 'dug out' the metal to create the '1' in the first place. A look at the doubled bottom framelines of both numeral boxes shows that they are level, and not tilted.
These appear to be very rare! Out of the many thousands of these that I have searched through, this is the only copy I have found. ***
***I discovered just tonight (August 2, 2017) that I actually had a second copy of this and it was already posted on my website! It was listed as stamp #41 on my second page of majors! I hadn’t noticed it until tonight when I made a larger scan of my first copy to insert here and looked through my second page for fun!

Doubling can be found all over the design of the 1¢ Numeral and in many different combinations: one corner; two corners; upper half; lower half; upper left corner & lower right corner; upper right corner & lower left corner; and all sorts of mixtures in between.
However, some of the most striking re-entries on the 1¢, aside from the many misplaced entries covered elsewhere, exhibit doubling in the lettering of CANADA POSTAGE. As with most re-entries, there is that special 'something' about re-entries showing in lettering, as opposed to just framelines or spandrel lines. Here is a selection of re-entries, in no particular order, that show various amounts of doubling in CANADA POSTAGE. Many have doubling elsewhere, as well, but it is the lettering that makes these re-entries shine!
