Major Re-entry

Pos'n Unknown

This is the nicest re-entry I have yet seen on this stamp! The usual type I am familiar with simply shows doubling of the vertical lines in the upper left corner spandrel. This re-entry, however, shows lovely doubling in 'WFOUN' and I therefore consider it to be major.

Re-entry

This is the more 'typical' type of re-entry found on this particular stamp. Note the sharp doubling of the vertical lines in the upper left spandrel design. In this one, the doubling gets stronger (wider) as you go from right to left. The left end of the outer design at the far left of the NEWFOUNDLAND panel is also slightly doubled out into the margin.

Re-entry

This is another of  the more 'typical' type of re-entry found on this particular stamp. Note the sharp doubling of the vertical lines in the upper left spandrel design. In this one, the doubling gets stronger (wider) as you go from left to right. There is also nice doubling of the vertical shading lines in the portrait below 'EW' that is not found on the earlier example.

Re-entry

This delightful little stamp has some nice re-entries showing doubling on the left or right sides. This one is on the left, showing numerous extensions of the horizontal background lines; part of the outer oval frame; the inner beaded circle; the outside edge of the lettering band; and in a few of the letters themselves.

Re-entry

This one is on the left as well and is similar to the one above; however, the vertical lines of the upper left corner design are sharply doubled on this one.
