*1	Scott #39 / 34 / 33 3¢ Blue & Vermillion A Major Misplaced Entry Plate Position #55 This is a lovely misplaced entry discovered by W.G. Burden of Nova Scotia. Close examination of the photos shown here reveal clear evidence of a strongly misplaced design upwards and to the right. A second copy of this stamp has recently been confirmed by Stephen Baker, who submitted the scan below the proof to the right. It only took me 15 years, but I finally found a copy of this beauty for myself. Unfortunately, it has a missing corner. I have since acquired a nicer, sound copy with a scarce '2' cancel. An examination of a 1200dpi scan of a full proof sheet of 100 of Scott #33 allowed me to plate all of the re-entries on this stamp. *2	Scott #39 / 34 / 33 3¢ Blue & Vermillion A Major Re-entry Plate Position #53 There is a lovely clockwise twist to the entire design of this stamp, though more sharply doubled on the right side. The close-ups of the blue copy are courtesy of W.G. *3	Scott #39 / 34 / 33 3¢ Blue & Vermillion A Major Re-entry Plate Position #45 The bottom of the design is sharply doubled on this stamp, with slight traces of doubling in the upper corners, the outer left and right vertical bars, and the left side of the background portrait lines. Plate Positions #45, 53 &55 This amazing block of 6 shows all 3 of the major varieties on the plate of 100! In the upper right corner is the Major Re-entry from pp45. In the lower left corner is the Major Re-entry from pp53. *5	Scott #39 / 34 / 33 3¢ Vermilion A Major Re-entry - As above Plate Position #45 The same design for Scott #39 was used previously for both Scott #33 & 34. Both of these issues were perforated. John Jamieson of Saskatoon Stamp Centre recently found this re-entry on a plated strip of plate proofs in the vermilion colour. It is the left stamp in the pair shown to the right, and the bottom pair of the strip below. *6	Scott #39 / 34 / 33 3¢ Vermilion A Major Re-entry Plate Position #5 This is another major re-entry, though not as obvious as the above examples. Here there is doubling in the upper left '3', the 'THR' of THREE, and the 'EW' of NEWFOUNDLAND.  The entire bottom of the design is also doubled, along with 'squeezing' in the tops of THREE CENTS' and extensions into the white space at the bottom of the portrait. *7	Scott #39 / 34 / 33 3¢ Blue & Vermillion Re-entry Plate Position # There is clear doubling of the outer ornamental line in the upper left corner, as well as a thickening of the outer ornamental line in the lower right.
