U.S.A. Scott #232 1893 3¢ Columbian Expo A Major Misplaced Entry 1 Dropped Transfer Roll This is the first double transfer I have seen on this stamp! If you look below the M of AMERICA, you will see a narrow band of extraneous markings that are indicative of a dropped transfer roller, just above the front sail in the sky. Further down is a vertical line that cuts through the B of COLUMBUS as well as the ocean above. There are also marks visible in and below the UM. Courtesy of Scott Treacey of Cavendish Auctions.
