# Re-entry
(Fresh Entry) Plate
Position #105 (Fifth
Stamp in Bottom Row of Plate of 10 X 11 Rows) Doubling is
found in TRINIDAD, all four corners, outside the loops of
the engine turning of the left border, and above the top
frameline. This stamp
was first described and illustrated in an article submitted
by E.D. Farr back in October of 1956. It is part of a series
presented by C.P. Rang in a column entitled, "THROUGH THE
MAGNIFYING GLASS." It is on page 20. Unfortunately, all I
have is a photocopy of the article and I cannot identify the
journal. The article mentions that Mr. Farr had made a
special study of re-entries, "some of which were presented
here a few years ago." If anyone
can identify the journal these articles appeared in and/or
provide me with photocopies or scans of them, I would be
most grateful. ***Mr. Michael Wigmore, of the Philatelic Federation of South Africa Expert Committee, has notified me that this article appeared in Gibbons Stamp Monthly.*** My thanks to
Bob Thorne for providing me with this information and two
copies of the stamp that he has found. (Stamp
